Survey Finds Most Schools Are Taking Steps to Promote Online Safety
More than 90 percent of school districts report that they have installed a filtering solution and 78 percent report that
teachers supervise students' Internet use. Those were the findings of a new survey released by the National School Boards
Foundation. More than 800 technology decision makers of public school districts, including all of those with more than
25,000 students, responded to the survey, which was conduced between December 12, 2001 and February 12, 2002. More
